Welcome to CASUMI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our phone call transcription and summarization service ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
CASUMI provides:
- Audio file upload and storage
- Automatic speech-to-text transcription
- AI-powered call summarization
- Action item extraction and tracking
- Contact management and insights
- Google Calendar and Gmail integration
- Notification delivery (email, WhatsApp, push)
3. Call Recording Disclosure
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable call recording laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of other parties on the call.
- Recording consent requirements vary by jurisdiction:
- Israel: Generally permits one-party consent (the recorder can be the consenting party) under the Wiretapping Law (1979, Amendment 13)
- Other jurisdictions: May require all-party consent
- You must obtain any required consent before recording calls and uploading them to our Service.
- We recommend informing all parties that a call is being recorded, regardless of legal requirements.
- We are not liable for any legal consequences arising from your failure to comply with applicable recording laws.
4. Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Maintain the security of your credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Not share your account with others
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Upload content obtained through illegal means
- Use the Service for harassment, stalking, or illegal surveillance
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
- Exceed rate limits or abuse API access
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content
6. Content Ownership
- Your Content: You retain ownership of audio recordings and other content you upload
- License Grant: You grant us a limited license to process your content for Service delivery
- AI Outputs: Summaries, transcriptions, and other AI-generated content are provided for your use
7. Data Processing
We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.
8. Service Availability
- We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
- We may suspend service for security or legal reasons

All prices include VAT. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, VAT collection, and refunds on our behalf.
Payment terms:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance
- Credit packs do not expire
- Refunds are provided within 14 days if you have not used the Service
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- You may cancel subscriptions at any time through the app or by contacting support
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We provide the Service "AS IS" without warranties
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for transcription or summarization accuracy
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of recording consent laws
- Content you upload
12. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time
- We may terminate accounts for Terms violations
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule
13. Modifications
We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
